Will my pets actually use it?
Most pets are drawn to moving water instinctively. Place it in a familiar spot next to their old bowl — the vast majority make the switch on their own. 

Is it really quiet enough for a bedroom?
Yes — the 5V pump runs at ≤25dB. For reference, a whisper is about 30dB. Keep the water above the minimum line and you'll barely know it's on.

How often do I clean it and change the filter?
Rinse the basin weekly (or toss steel parts in the dishwasher), rinse the pump every 2 weeks, and swap the filter every 2–4 weeks depending on how many pets share it.

Is stainless steel really better than plastic?
Yes. Plastic develops micro-scratches where bacteria settle and it absorbs odours over time. 304 stainless steel does neither, lasts years longer, and is the material most often suggested for pets prone to chin acne.

What if the pump stops?
90% of the time it's low water or hair around the intake — top up, rinse the pump, done. If it's genuinely faulty, we replace it. Simple.
